This design is different from a lot of crochet bralettes, in that you are not creating "cups", but working side-to-side to crochet a short tank top. The tight ribbing allows for plenty of stretch, mimicking the effect of bust-darts by stretching across the fullest part of your bust while tightening at the rib-cage for a fitted bralette on all body types. When choosing a size, find the bust measurement here that equals approximately 4 to 6 inches (10-15 cm) smaller than your actual bust and make that size.
