These toe-up socks are a plain design with a heel flap and gusset construction and knit in DK yarn. The heel is turned with German short rows. **There is a sister pattern [Sporty Vanilla][1], written for sports weight yarn. Buy them both at the same time for a reduced price of £7 GBP** > This sock is essentially my [free vanilla pattern][2], written at a different gauge.
