Raw-tee

RAW & SIMPLE is the theme behind a Raw-series, with this tee being the second. Plain surfaces without ribbing, but highlighted with horizontal stitches. The shape is loose and boxy. RAW-tee is worked top-down in stockinette stitch. First the back, where the shoulders are shaped by short rows. Then the front, where the stitches are picked up in the cast-on edge of the back. Under the armhole, back and front pieces are assembled and the body is worked in the round. All edges are worked in stockinette stitch, highlighted with horizontal stitches and ending with an I-cord bind off. **Materials** CONCEPT Cotton-cashmere or similar sport weight cotton-yarn: 170 yd (155 m) / 50 g. 300 / 300 / 350 / 400 / 450 / 450 g **Needles** 32” (80 cm) circular needles size US 1.5 & 2.5 (2.5 & 3 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle size US 1.5 (2.5 mm) Stitch markers **Gauge** Before wash: 26 stitches & 34 rows in stockinette stitch with needle size US 2.5 (3 mm) = 4” (10 cm).
