Old Shale Lace Dishcloth

***Free Introductory Pattern**** Free for March 2022* Not your everyday dishcloth! Old Shale Lace Dishcloth uses the extra strong Coboo yarn by Lion Brand but of course you can use any cotton or preferred dish yarn. Although it is similar to the Old Shale Knitting stitch pattern it is slightly different adding for a smooth transition throughout the top side. The airy design allows the cloth do dry overnight which helps prevent smells. I recommend soaking in 2 litres of hot water and a 1/4c of bleach about once every month to eliminate bacteria. The bleach will change the colour somewhat but I like to add this step. Then I wash with my whites in hot water. The finished gauge is after washing and drying. Enjoy, Ginette
