Sunflower

Did you know the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine? It represents the warmth and strength of the sun. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Sunflower measures approx. 11cm (4.3in), when using the same yarn and tools indicated below. Skill Level: Easy/Intermediate **Materials** • Croché Estrela Tricot Baby +, 100% Cotton yarn (50g / 105m), in Blue (approx. 4g), Brown (approx. 2g), Green (approx. 2g) and Yellow (approx. 3g) • 3mm crochet hook • Stuffing • Small piece of cardboard or pellets • Craft pipe cleaner • Tapestry needle • Scissors
