This is an honours system - please respect that I also am trying to make a living from my designs and if you can afford the full price I'd appreciate if you paid it. **You will need:** 2.75mm / US 2 40cm / 16in circular needles and your preferred needles for working small circumferences (horns and i-cord). 3.75mm / US 5 40cm / 16in circular needles and your preferred needles for working small circumferences (for crown of hat) Tapestry needle Waste yarn Pins **Yarn:** I used Ginger Twist Studio Sheepish DK (100% wool, 225m / 246yds per 100g) But this pattern will work with any lightweight DK that can achieve gauge- I’d recommend wool or acrylic. **Yardage:** Bonnet only: 55g (123m / 136yds) Horns only: 20g (45m / 50yds) **Gauge:** Bonnet: 22 sts and 30 rows per 10cm / 4in in stocking stitch, using 3.75mm needles Horns: 27 sts and 39 rows per 10cm / 4in in stocking stitch, using 2.75mm needles **Sizing:** This is a hat for adults but also fits most children 4+.
