String of Pearls Hanging Succulent

This pattern is inspired by the Sting of Pearls succulent. Each piece is made separately and then seamed or tied together. For the plant pictured, each piece was worked using DK weight yarn. As the pattern is fairly versatile, it can be worked using any weight yarn, but the hook may need to be scaled with the yarn. It is also recommended to use the same weight yarn for the dirt and pot parts of the plant. For this project, you will need: Size G crochet hook Stuffing Yarn needle Green Yarn (for leaves) Grey Yarn (for pot) Light green (for pot) Brown (for dirt) Weighted beads (optional) Plastic sheet or cardboard (optional)
