You can also use any solid color yarn in the same base as your MC for the CC. **Suggested Needles:** Ribbing: US 4 (3.5mm) 16” circular needles Main Body: US 6 (4.0mm) 16” circular needles + preferred small circumference needles **Gauge:** 22 sts & 26 rows in 4”x 4”, stranded colorwork in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked. It is particularly important that you block your gauge swatch in the same manner you will block your finished object, since classic gingham pairs two highly contrasting colors. This comes with bleed risk. You will be able to tell from your blocked gauge swatch whether your colors will bleed. If you notice your colors bleeding in your gauge swatch, I recommend steam blocking. **Yardage:** Yardages listed assume a single brim.
