Ella's temperature blanket

These are basic instructions for a spiral motif to use specifically for a temperature blanket although it could be used for a normal blanket as well. Step by step photo instructions included. I have used three colour pallets for this blanket to get the contrast of the swirls. (Melbourne, Australia) 8 bold colours for the highs - (Ranging from 8 to 40+ deg C) 8 pastel colours for the lows. - (Ranging from -1 to 20 deg C) White, 3 shades of grey and black for rainfall - (no rain, 1-7mm, 8-14mm, 15-21mm, 22+) I used 5ply cotton and a 3.5mm hook. Each motif measures approximately 3.5 inch (9cm). Amount of yarn required will vary for different regions. You will need more for middle of the range temperatures and less for extreme temperatures.
