Rainforest Patchwork Blanket

This is a free written pattern and photo guide for this modern crochet patchwork throw/blanket. Sample is worked in nine different colours, but can be adapted to use any colour combinations. Beautiful simple and suitable for beginners. Leaves a neat straight edge and corners meaning that no border is needed so that a contemporary feel is maintained. Gauge is not critical, but will affect yarn quantities - first square should measure approximately 10cm x 10cm (4in x 4 in). Blanket size approximately 120cm x 120cm (but drape of the stitch tends to make this slightly longer than the width).
