NOTES • Achieving and maintaining tension while working with velvet yarn can be tricky. Go slowly and count your stitches periodically. • The finished Top pieces will look too small compared with the foam insert. Don’t worry— velvet has great stretch. The finished piece will be taut and smooth over the insert.
