This hat pattern is imitating a knitted chevron hat. The pattern uses front post stitches and some special stitches, which sounds tricky, but actually not that tricky to do. I suggest to use regular worsted weight yarn for this hat, I used solid color, but I am sure ombre yarn would look great with this hat pattern!
