**12 Sparkly Days of Baubles Part 2** features four more quick and fun bauble cozies perfect for gifting or decorating your own tree. Designed especially for Marianated Yarns’ Glitterati base, these cozy ornaments offer a variety of techniques to keep things interesting and fun as you knit them. **Day 5** is simple texture on reverse stockinette, designed to be your swatch project. For best results, it should be worked first. If you find that the row or stitch gauge is off, or you do not like the fabric that is produced, adjust your needle size to knit the remaining bauble covers. **Day 6** features a stranded snowflake on a glistening background. **Day 7** has an easy swirled lace design that works well with variegated or solid yarn. **Day 8**’s horseshoe cable is easier to knit than it looks! These bauble covers are designed to fit a 2.63" / 67 mm plastic ornament. For a few rounds, you will be creating your stitches with the plastic bauble nestled inside the knitted fabric. For your safety, **please do not use a glass ornament to create this project!** **Techniques Used:** 4 stitch cables German twisted cast on Small diameter knitting and purling in the round Yarn over and knit/purl front and back increases Knit/purl 2 together decreases Stranded knitting **Materials Needed:** Yarn: 30-45 yards of light fingering weight yarn per cozy Samples knit in Marianated Yarns Glitterati (90% superwash merino /10% lurex) Needles: US 1 / 2.25 mm DPNs or 32” / 81 cm circular needle or size needed to achieve gauge Notions and additional materials: Cable needle Removable stitch marker and optional stitch markers for pattern repeats Tapestry needle 4 plastic ornaments, 2.63" / 67 mm diameter **Finished Measurements:** Fits a 2.63" / 67 mm plastic ornament with negative ease.
