The written instructions are for an adult S/M and L size, but I have also include easy instructions to adapt the neck warmer to any neck circumference from a child size and up. The neck size is designed to gently slip over the head and without a lot of open drape. I used a sport weight yarn, but since the stopping point is measured, you can adapt this pattern to any weight yarn. Best of all you can easily crochet this neckwarmer in about 2-2.5 hours and no wet blocking is required! I used one skein (164 yards/50 grams) of the Schoppel Edition 3 yarn, that has all of the beautiful Zauberball-style color changes that form subtle stripes. With the design of the neck warmer, the stripes will appear on a diagonal, adding to the visual appeal of the neck warmer. You can match the yarn color and yarn texture to the person you are making it for, make it their exact size and you can make it in a short amount of time, so this is the perfect gifting project. Omni is also a great stash busting project that you can make with your leftover yarn stash! Just simple crochet stitches are used for this project and rows are crocheted straight across., plus a very simple seam.
