Aurora

Aurora is my latest blanket. I have long have a love of the aurora borealis and a dream to one day see them for myself. When I got this yarn cake from Little Favorites by Rea I knew exactly what it was going to become. This was a custom dye and it has a little sparkle running throughout it. Suitable to be made in any yarn weight with a corresponding hook size this blanket can be made for both boys and girls. It also has a therapuetic mindfulness quality to it as the repeats are quite simple and easy to remember. A photo tutorial of the stitches is available. Suitable for a confident beginner. Finished size after light block approx 88 cm by 88cm if using 4ply (3.5mm hook) The pattern is available in both US and UK terms. The pattern has also been tested by a wide range of people of various abilities.
