Flossie's Feathers

This hat was designed as part of the 2021 [Crochet Cancer Challenge Event.][1] You can read about my inspiration for this hat and see a helpful photo tutorial by visiting my blog, here: [https://purdysweetcrochet.blogspot.com/2021/10/flossies-feathers-crochet-cancer.html][2] **SIZE:** Regular Adult – 21-22” head circumference (pattern can be easily adjusted to accommodate a variety of size options) **SKILL LEVEL:** Intermediate **YARN:** Approximate yarn usage is 250 - 300 yards for the slouchy hat and may vary depending on yarn weight, hook size and tension. **HOOK SIZE:** US Size (H/8) 5.0 mm and (I/9) 5.5 mm crochet hooks **ADDITIONAL NOTES:** This hat is worked from the top down which makes it a bit easier to size the hat to your own personal tension and includes directions for either beanie, slouchy or beret style. Brim options are also included for a SC band worked in the back loop or ribbed band worked in short rows and slip stitched to the bottom edge of the hat.
