This duffel coat is easily my favourite item to wear that I have made this year. It is extremely comfortable AND I love mine to bits. In beautiful warm colours and even better, this wool will wash and wash and never seems to fade/bobble meaning I don’t feel that I have to save for special occasions only. Made with the Overlay Mosaic Method and an Enclosed Double Border. There is very little sewing to do. Most of the ends are enclosed within the borders so don’t need to be sewn into the garment edges. The only ends to sew in are from the F/O at the finish of the border the bottom and top sleeve edges, and attaching the toggles. Made in ONE PIECE, THERE ARE NO SEAMS TO MATCH UP AND SEW.
