Astrid's 4 Xmas potholders

I know there is quite a while before Xmas is here, but still, who doesn't like to have all those gifts and ornaments ready well in time? These 4 potholders are done in Scheepjes Catona with a 3mm hook. The technique is interlocking crochet, which is a big name but a simple technique. All you do is dc, chain 1 skip 1, as per written in the pattern. The pattern includes not only general information on this technique, but a chart and a detailed stitch by stitch, row by row description.
