Harvest Moon Block

Description: A decorative floral square. Repeat as many as you need to make a cushion cover, bag, table runner or blanket of any size, or use it as a border to upsize other projects. PART 2: upsizing the square into a large Block. PART 3: The Harvest Moon Extension will increase the size of your Block to a 47” x 47”/ 1.20m x 1.20m Throw. The Extension will be available as a separate pattern that can also be used to upsize any of my other large Block patterns ( eg: any of the “TEA” Blocks ). Terms: US Skill Level: Adventurous beginner to intermediate. Hook Size: 4.00mm ( US 7 ). Upsize using a bigger hook, downsize using a smaller hook. Gauge Medium. Yarn and colours: Stylecraft Special DK 100% premium acrylic ( 100g = 322yrds/ 295m ). DK weight in US terms is #3 yarn. Colours are randomly chosen and I’ve listed 2 x colourways at the beginning of each round ( yarn colourway list in the NOTES section of this pattern on Ravelry ). This pattern is not yarn specific so please feel free to use any weight/type of yarn ( with a matching hook ). Note that your yarn weight will influence the size outcome of your project.
