CatFish House

This is a 3D cat house made with an 8" flower arrangement hoop for the mouth, 4 mm macrame cord, and a 5.5 mm hook. It is worked in the round using invisible increases and decreases. The tail and fins are made using half-double crochet in the back loop only (HDC BLO) to create a ridged appearance. The finished project is 16"x16"x20" deep. You can adjust the size by adding/removing increases so that the final product fits your (cat's) needs. There's no strict gauge requirement but the front should be cone shaped (rather than flat) to keep things nice and smooth. Every time I tried to design this with a truly flat front, I ended up with a wavy mess.
