Of course, you are welcome to use your favorite granny square pattern and follow my instructions for assembly, seaming, top edging and strap to create your own bags as well! Note that I used 187 g/348 yds (2 skeins) to crochet my bag: if you plan on making the strap longer, making the squares bigger, adding a pocket or generally crochet more loosely, I would recommend getting 3 skeins to be safe.
