Running along the edge of Okanagan Lake at the south end of Peachland, lies Antlers Beach, a natural stretch of shoreline that boasts stunning views of the surrounding valley. This long, pebbled beach is a popular destination for swimming, picnicking, kayaking, or on the perfect stormy winter’s day, lake surfing. With its classic seed stitch and rhythmic mosaic, this quick and captivating knit makes Antlers Beach the perfect cozy throw for a cool summer evening at the beach or a cozy winter night by the fire! Showcase your favorite colour, or choose a neutral palette with a pop of colour for the fringe. **| FINISHED MEASUREMENTS |** 50” / 125cm wide by 60” / 150cm long All measurements are approximate and taken after blocking. **| GAUGE/SUGGESTED NEEDLES |** 9 stitches and 13 rows over 4” / 10cm in seed stitch, after blocking. A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements. **Suggested needles:** 9mm (US 13) 40” / 100cm (or longer) circular needle, or size needed to obtain above listed gauge. **| MATERIALS |** **Super Bulky yarn:** 615y / 555m for MC, 290y / 265m for CC1, 170y / 155m for CC2, and 130y / 120m for fringe. **Gold throw shown in:** Estelle Yarns Merino Big (100% merino wool; plied, 87y / 80m per 100g) using Golden Nugget for MC (seven balls), Ecru for CC1 (four balls), and Black for CC2 (two balls). **Grey throw shown in:** Cascade Yarns Lana Grande (100% wool; plied; 87y / 80m per 100g) using Antique for MC (seven balls), Ecru for CC1 (four balls), True Black for CC2 (two balls), and Sienna for fringe (two balls).
