Stuffed Animal Hammock

This pattern is for a unique extra large stuffed animal hammock hung from 5 points in a corner. The pattern produces a "net" like quality with diamond-shaped openings. Using the standard medium weight yarn and a 5mm/H hook the finished size (laid flat unstretched) is approximately 42in wide x 32in deep. Any size hook and yarn can be used; your choice affects the finished size. The pattern is beginner-friendly, written in plain English, and accompanied by photos, tips, and descriptions. No specialty stitches are used. Picture hanging hardware or command hooks will be needed to hang the finished hammock. **!NEW!** There are now two files you can download when you purchase this pattern on Etsy. The original file remains, but there is now an improved version with many updates: fewer ends to weave in, loops in the middle of the net for easier hanging, more information about stitch counts and yarn yardage needed, more photos in both right- and left-handed orientations, and stitch counts to make medium and small nets as well as the classic extra-large one.
