The balaclava is one of this season’s biggest musthaves. The clever combination of hat and collar keeps both neck and head warm, while looking super chic. Balaclava No. 2 is worked top down in a delicate and classic cabled pattern. SIZE ONESIZE SUGGESTED NEEDLES 4.5 mm [US 7] circular needles (40 and 60 or 80 cm [16 and 24 or 32 inches]) GAUGE In cabled pattern using 4.5 mm [US 7] needles. 18 sts / 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] Note! The cabled pattern expands in wash and use. The gauge before washing is approx. 21 sts / 25 rows using 4.5 mm [US 7] needles. It is therefore particularly important to work a swatch and wash it before beginning the work. The balaclava is as such also washed before use to obtain the right fit. MATERIALS 100 gr.
