Feather and Fan Wrist Warmers

**Errata:** The third round of the pattern should read: *(K2tog) twice; (YO, K1) 4 times; (K2tog) twice**. First needle done. Repeat from * to ** to the end of the round. This is a simple lace pattern consisting of four rows which are repeated. It is a great pattern for those of you who dislike purl stitches, or enjoy knitting in the round or are new to lace knitting. I used two strands of lace weight yarn to create a custom colorway and to give the wrist warmers a little more thickness. The pattern that follows is based on this. This pattern would also likely work well with a single strand of fingering yarn. Yardage requirements are approximates only. You will have plenty left to knit several pairs. The sample I made measured 3.5 inches wide (un-stretched) and 6.75 inches long (un-stretched). I have an women's XL hand and they stretched to fit me. I think it would fit a women's medium to XL. To make a small size, you can reduce the size of your needles. Be sure to swatch first and adjust the number of rounds knit accordingly. The bottom pics show the Berroco and Rowan yarns. If you are unaccustomed to knitting with two strands of yarn, be patient, and smooth the yarn together with your hand as you pull more from the skeins to knit.
