Stringy Stringer

Here is something a bit special, and not just because the pattern is free. I'm calling it a Stringy Stringer, but you might know it as a Muscle Tank Top, or Muscle Vest. Of course, the obvious thing is the long loopy crochet stitches, actually called The Crocheted Drop Stitch. Made from cotton aran (10ply), specifically Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran, a 5mm hook and a 20 mm hook, this top doesn't take long to make once you get the hang of the technique. This muscle top is made in two pieces and seamed at the sides and shoulders. The pattern includes a photo tutorial on creating the stitch.
