With this pattern you can crochet a sea-urchin. Depending on yarn and hook size used, your see urchin will be bigger or smaller than the one I made. I used Katia Fair Cotton on hook size 3 mm and my sea urchin is 7 cm wide and 3 cm high. In the revised pattern I crocheted a sea urchin with beads using double stranded Hobbii Rainbow Lace cotton on hook size 2.5 mm. This urchin measures 6 cm.
