The Buddy Beanie

Put a smile on your little buddy's face with this crochet hat for boys! Of course, you can make this beanie for anyone and everyone, but I wanted to create something a little on the boyish side for my twins who turned seven this month(!!!). The Buddy Beanie is worked from the bottom up and the main stitch is the easy but interesting herringbone half double crochet. A chart, photos, and detailed instructions are included for the colorwork portion of this crochet hat. No pom pom maker? No problem! I've also included step-by-step instructions and a photo tutorial for DYI pom poms! This pattern is written for child size (4-10 years), but general instructions are given for adapting to sizes from toddler to adult (Note: exact stitch counts are not given for each size).
