Whenever a baby shower invitation lands in my mailbox, my first thought is always the same: *It’s time to knit a baby sweater!*
The Showered in Rainbows baby sweater was specifically designed to work magic with your self-striping yarn. This ONE SKEIN project is perfect for creating a gift-worthy garment with a single, special skein in your stash. Plus, the unusual construction creates shorter rows. Fewer stitches per row means those stripes really shine (especially if your yarn has narrow stripes).
AND if your yarn stash is more “rainbow leftovers” than pristine skeins, this sweater has you covered. It’s perfect for using up scrap yarn, mixing colors, and turning those too-small-to-be-useful bits into something joyful and gift-worthy.
So go ahead—shower that baby in rainbows! :rainbow: :yarn:
