Alpine stocking

This crochet stocking pattern is simple yet textured, modern and despite looking intricate it is really easy to make. I love how one stitch can look different when it is crocheted with different types of yarn or different weights of yarn. I have tried the FPcl- front post dc cluster stitch for a hat with hand-dyed yarn before and I was not impressed, but while searching for the right stitch to use for my “Alpine” crochet stocking in one of my crochet stitches books- I can say that I love how this stitch worked out with worsted weight yarn. Materials: Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors For the sample, I used Bernat premium in green color and cream color.
