**KRISTTJØRN/HOLLY SWEATER** For many of us holly branches equals Christmas, and we can’t image a holiday arrangement or decoration without them. In Denmark a wreath of holly was traditionally hung on the front door, but on this Christmas sweater is sits on the yoke in the most beautiful way. The decorative branch with pointy dark green leaves and Christmas red berries was my inspiration for this design. I wish you happy knitting! The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately, in the round. You have the choice of gentle waist shaping. Then the body and sleeves are united to form the yoke with the beautiful pat-tern. The gauge swatch is worked in rounds and is measured after washing. Remember that the needle size is just a recommendation. Take measurements of your gauge while knitting and adjust the needle size, if necessary, especially when changing between techniques. I recommend that you make a swatch to make sure that you get the right gauge with your chosen yarn and needles.
