Snow Forest Socks

The Snow Forest is a magical place where time seems to stand still. Lotta found the forest one summer's day, when her daily walk took her in a new direction. Nestled in the tall trees, she discovered a long abandoned log cabin. Over the next few months, she spent every spare moment bringing the little house back to life. By the time the first fluffy white snowflakes began to fall, Lotta and her faithful dog Stig, had made this incredible place their own. The Snow Forest socks are a design that reflect the feeling of Lotta's special home. The lace panel down each leg depicts the tall pine trees and many paths that wind through the forest. **Sock Details** The socks are knitted top down, and feature a beautifully fitting true afterthought heel. The heel is designed to fit even those with a high instep and the pattern contains a video tutorial for the cutting in of the heel. They also have my Umbrella Toe. **Sizes** Small (56 sts), Medium (64 sts) and Large (72 sts) **Yarn** The socks are knitted using The Wool Barn, Smooth Sock in the colourway 'Nougat'. The heels and toes use a 20g mini skein in RiverKnits BFL. **The Winter Collection** The Snow Forest socks form part of my 'Winter Collection'. This is a series of 3 sock designs, released throughout the month of December 2020.
