Knit with one of our favourite fingering weight yarns from Scrumptiouspurl, choosing from the colourful self-striping and solid options was the hardest part of making this hat. Who says sock yarn is only for your feet? We say why not wear it where it can be seen in all it's glory! YARN Scrumptiouspurl STRIPE ME UP (80% Merino, 20% Nylon); 365m (400y) / 100 g 1 ball Striped version shown in 'You Had Me at Tricot' Solid version shown in 'Black Purl' OR 183 (216, 257) m / 197 (237, 281) y of fingering weight yarn. SIZES * Child: 16.5” (42 cm) circumference after brim x 9” (22.9 cm) height * Adult small: 17.5” (44.5 cm) circumference after brim x 10” (25.4 cm) height * Adult medium: 18.5” (47 cm) circumference after brim x 11.25” (28.6 cm) height For a standard fit, note that the finished circumference of the hat should be approximately 20% smaller than the circumference of the head that it is meant to fit.
