Botanica

Botanica is a loose fitting cardigan, designed top-down, with on-trend balloon sleeves and is fully size inclusive. The cardigan can be made any length, and the sleeves can be changed to short or long sleeves. Full instructions are given to achieve a great fit for any size. Botanica was designed using limited edition fade kits from Umbala Yarns. A bamboo/cotton blend was used. Nurturing Fibres Eco-Fusion will be a great substitute. When substituting yarns for this project, use something with great drape. Any yarn with a percentage of bamboo or silk will work well. Do not make the top with a 100% bamboo yarn as it will sag. The sample is a size small and with a completed chest measurement of 104cm, will fit from extra small up to size medium. If you don't want to use a size 5.00mm hook with the lighter sports weight yarn, use a smaller hook, but keep in mind that you'll probably have to do quite a few additional rows on the yoke.
