Woven Stars

Woven Stars are very quick to knit and use less than 5 g of DK weight yarn all together. They are made up of two triangles, knitted flat and then woven together. The finished stars measure about 9 cm across at their widest point but you can knit different sizes by using other weights of yarn. Knit them in two shades of one colour as I have or use a variegated yarn for a different effect. You could decorate the finished stars with beads and buttons too. These would be a useful contribution to a fundraising stall and you are welcome to knit them to sell to raise money for any charity.
