Cardigan No. 7 is a simple raglan cardigan. It is worked top down in stocking stitch and finished with ribbed edges. The fit is classic, snug and designed to reach the hip bone. The sleeves are slightly cropped and full, adding a feminine touch. The pattern is written in a simple language and without any abbreviations. The cardigan is therefore suitable for new knitters and as beginner’s projects. If you wish to use the magic loop method for the sleeves, you will not need double pointed needles. GAUGE 14 stitches / 20 rows in stocking stitch using 7 mm [US 11] needles = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]. The given gauge is measured after washing and wet blocking.
