Damask

Damask is a top-down loose-fitting boxy pullover with a round neckline and drop shoulders. Its 3/4 puff sleeves and the garter stitch and lace motif make it the ideal garment for the warmer spring and summer months. Shown in Madelinetosh EURO SOCK (100% Superwash Merino; 397 m [435 yd]/100 g) in the color Copper Pink. **Needles** Body and sleeves: 3.5 mm [US size 4] 60 cm [24″] and 80 cm [32″] (minimum for magic loop method) circular needles. Ribbing: 3 mm [US size 2½] 60 cm [24″] and 80 cm [32″] (minimum for magic loop method) circular needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. **Notions** Stitch markers; stitch holders or waste yarn; tapestry needle. **GAUGE** 25 sts and 38 rnds = 10 cm [4″] in garter st and lace patt (see Appendix for chart of patt in rnd) on larger needle, after blocking.
