New Kitten

Hello... This is my latest little kitten and dare I say, a new favourite of mine. I don't have real kittens (budgies!) but this is a good replacement - in other words the final knitted kitty is very, very similar to the real thing, but without the purr naturally!! I doubled up with yarns - as I most often do, this time choosing Drops Sky with Kid-silk for the black and white 'tuxedo' kitten; and a new one for me - 'Suri' Alpaca with Kid-silk for the little marmalade - this was a gorgeous combination and I WILL be using it again as soon as I have enough funds!). These little babies are knitted almost in one piece - bar the ears which are joined on at the end. I've used toy eyes which I bought from suncatcher craft eyes and a heavy weight un-carded stuffing which I bought from a site that sells bear-making tools & materials (you can get it on eBay too). The BIG PLUS here though - is that I've added a link within the pattern for a making up video-guide - it's quite long but you can duck in and dive out as and when you need to. AND - another new thing for me - there's a coloured-marker guide included which I wholly recommend you adhere too - you'll find it a revelation!
