Crochet Horse Toy

Only basic crocheting skills are required (if you are a complete beginner you can find plenty of video tutorials for all of the required stitches online). The main stitch used throughout the pattern is a US single crochet stitch (UK double crochet). I used DK/light-worsted yarn (no more than 100g of each colour) and a 2.75mm (C) hook to create a 24cm/9" long toy, but you you can change the toy size with different yarn weights and hook sizes (e.g. Aran/Worsted yarn and a 3.5mm hook will give a 28cm toy - specifics included in the pattern).
