Malecon

“Malecón” means boardwalk in Spanish, and it is the centerpiece of the city where I grew up, Ensenada, Mexico. This top is inspired by the feeling of youthful bliss and beauty that this place evokes for me. Each element represents a part of this place that I love: the music, food and wine, beautiful nature, and the incredible ocean that backdrops it all. The top is constructed bottom-up in rounds. It can be as long or short as desired. The simple puffed sleeves add a touch of elegance and joy. Sample used Indie Belle Yarn Merino Flax, 90% Superwash Merino, 10% Wild Flax Fibre, in colors A) Stockholm, B) Oxyde and C) Magnolia. HOOKS: 4 mm or size needed to meet gauge and 0.5 mm smaller.
