Afternoon in Lisbon (Top)

This beautiful top features an eye-catching mosaic motif on the shoulders and stripes on the body to create a wonderful summer item in your favourite two colours that you’ll love to knit and wear during the warmer months of the year. Afternoon in Lisbon Top is a sweater/sleeveless top with a straight body, wide crew neck and drop shoulders. It is worked flat in one piece and then joined at the sides with three-needle bind-off. Neck, arm openings and bottom hem are finished neatly with an i-cord. This design was inspired by its sister pattern - my [Afternoon in Lisbon](/patterns/library/afternoon-in-lisbon) wrap, which plays with the same graphic mosaic motif. Mosaic knitting is an easy colourwork technique that uses slipped stitches and only one colour at a time.
