Summertime

Blanket made up of pretty granny squares with a summery Dahlia motif in the centre. Pattern includes step-by-step photos and instructions to 'join-as-you-go', and can be easily adapted to any size from a cushion cover, to a lap / baby blanket, to a kingsize bed cover if you wish. Yarn requirements for the 5 x 5 square lap blanket pictured are as below, but Summertime also makes a great stash / scrap-busting project! 3 balls each in Parma Violet and White; 2 balls in Cypress; 1 ball each in Lincoln, Buttermilk, Mustard, Gold, Violet, Wisteria, Magenta and Clematis.
