Sofia Flared dress

This pattern is very similar to my other design, Abigail Fairy Dress, but aimed more at older children, teens and adults. I used a fingering (fine) weight yarn, held double, but you can use anything up to a DK weight (held single) which gives more structure to the dress/top. In a fine weight held double, you'll need a total of about 2000m of yarn. If you use a thicker yarn such as DK weight, you'll need about 1000 - 1500m, depending on how long you want to make it. The pattern is ideally suited to Scheepjes Whirl as well. It is worked in one piece, from the top down, and uses body measurements rather than counting stitches, so a confident crocheter should be able to adapt it to almost any size. It is best suited to an intermediate skill level, but the instructions are very simple, very clear and the pattern contains a lot of photos to help. ***If you have already bought the Abigail dress pattern, this pattern is available to you at a discounted rate.*** This pattern has been tested and checked, but I am human.
