It's 100% crochet with a knit-look thanks to the slip stitch ribbing. The pattern is available in Toddler, Child and Adult sizes. This hat is a perfect project for a confident beginner – not too difficult but with a couple of techniques to offer a challenge (slip stitch ribbing and short rows). **Construction** This hat is crocheted from side to side and seamed at the end. At the top of the hat you will skip stitches on alternate rows; this tapering will give the top of the hat a more rounded shape at the end.
